Online-conference “Creative Economy after the Pandemic”

The International Diplomatic Club “Amicability” organized the online conference on the topic “Creative economy after a pandemic” on June 4. The conference was attended by director Vladimir Uglichin, ambassador of Nigeria to Russia Dr. Steve Ugbah, actor Oleg Lebedev-Bolovsky, director and writer Mohydeen Izzat Quandour and artist Eugene Ankomah.

The statement of Mohydeen Izzat Quandour became central. The director spoke about his vision of the future of film industry and stated that after the end of the epidemic film industry will surely recover and humanity will be able to cope with this global threat as it already happened in the past. At the same time, Mr. Kandur noted that the pandemic is a warning to us that it is necessary to take care of the nature around us and only by doing that we will not allow such situation happen again. The second important statement was the speech of Eugene Ankomah, who predicted development of the whole art sphere. Eugene said that after the pandemic most museums, exhibitions and theaters will continue to integrate actively into the Internet and because of that creative people will have new opportunities.

Participants of the conference also discussed protests in the United States and tried to find their roots. Guests expressed different opinions on this issue, but all agreed that a dialogue between all parties of the conflict is the only way to solve it.
