Russian Famous Artist Alexander Shilov Presents his New Work

During the recent meeting of the International Diplomatic Club “Amicability” an important event took place – the presentation of the painting depicting the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Bin Salman Alsaud, by a famous Russian artist Alexander Shilov. The presentation has not only shown the talent of Mr. Shilov, but also has been an example of cooperation between the Club and Islamic countries.

Alexander Shilov was born on March, 24, 1974 in Moscow in artists’ family. He graduated from the Moscow State Academic Institute of fine arts named after Vasily Surikov and specializes in landscape and portrait painting. Paintings of Mr. Shilov are situated in many museums of the world and private collections. He has organized more than 50 personal exhibitions, including ones in the Russian State Duma and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

Shilov has portrayed many famous people in his paintings. Today we speak about the picture of the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Alsaud. In the picture the prince is depicted in a traditional Arabic costume, his face shows pride and dignity of a member of the royal family and that is why the picture produces a strong impression on viewers.

The presentation has shown how deep the club’s ties with the countries of the Islamic world are. According to the President of the Club Sergey Dvoryanov, “Amicability” has now become a recognizable international brand and close cooperation with Middle East countries is a firm evidence of that. “Amicability” is willing to cooperate with Islamic countries and is open to any projects and iniciatives.
